Summer Adventure is a week-long opportunity in July for children to experience Jesus through captivating Bible stories, engaging worship, exciting games and new friendships in ways that are real, relevant and just plain fun!
When is Summer Adventure?
Summer Adventure is Monday - Friday, July 16 - 20.  It’s in the evening from 6:30-8:30pm.  Friday night (July 20) is Family Night when we wrap up the week with a program and picnic for the whole family!
Who is Summer Adventure for?
Kids age 3 (and potty-trained) through completed 5th grade can attend Summer Adventure.  Throughout the week, preschoolers remain with their age group, completed kindergarten through 3rd grade are grouped into mixed teams, and 4th and 5th grade have their own time together.
How do we sign up?
Click the “register here” button above to sign-up.  Online registration will close at midnight July 8, but walk-up registration is available each night of Summer Adventure.
What if we cannot attend the whole week?
No problem!  Even one night of Summer Adventure can impact a child’s life forever.  Even if you cannot make it for the whole week, don’t let your kiddo miss out on the fun!
Can my kid be in a group with their friends?
Preschool-age children are grouped according to their age, but completed kindergarten through 3rd grade kiddos are mixed up and placed into teams called “crews”.  On the registration form, there is a place to make a request for your child to be grouped with a friend.  We do our best to meet those requests as teams are being created!
What does a typical evening look like?
Each night, kids rotate through a few different “stations” with their teams: Bible lessons, games, snacks, crafts and worship.  Elementary-aged groups begin each evening in a large group, split up and rotate through each station, then come back together and close the night out together.  Preschool kiddos begin and end in their classrooms and do many of their activities in the preschool area of the children’s building.
What if my kid has allergies or special needs?
We’ve got you covered.  On the registration form, there is a place to let us know of any special needs or allergies.  Allergies are then indicated on your child’s name tag and their team leader will be aware as well.  In addition, all snacks are peanut-free.  For special needs, we will coordinate with you to be sure your child has the support and care they need.
Can I serve with Summer Adventure?
Of course!  If you are a member of our church family and at least age 15 we would love to have your help!  You can sign-up to serve through the “register here” button at the top of the page.  We ask for all volunteers to complete a background check as that’s our policy for anyone serving with kids.  If you would like to serve but have children that are too young to attend Summer Adventure, childcare will be provided throughout the evening.
