Summer Block Party

This summer, we're challenging the Center Grove family to think missionally and host a summer gathering with their neighbors!

Gather with other believers and CG Families

Do you live near other Center Grove families? What about your life group? Pick the family with the best location and host a block party or cookout together!

Spread the word!

Make some invites and drop them in mailboxes or hand-deliver. Check our your neighborhood Facebook page or post about your gathering on a neighborhood app like NextDoor.

Think about who will come and plan accordingly

Cook up some food! (Grab and go snacks like goldfish and applesauce are great for kids)

Get out some yard games like cornhole, Kanjam, footballs, frisbees, etc.

Think of fun for kiddos too like bubbles and chalk!

Set the mood with music - the CG Fam Jams Spotify playlist is a great place to start

If you're hanging out into the evening, build a fire and have s'mores!

Make a Gospel impact

Hosting a block party or cookout is just the beginning! Make it a priority to talk with and connect with neighbors. Get names and numbers and follow up afterward to continue building those relationships and investing right where God has placed you.
