We look forward to gathering together through outdoor worship services at the Clemmons Campus in October. Grab your camping chairs, folding chairs, or picnic blanket and come worship on a Sunday morning! Watch the video below and read on for specific details about what to expect at an outdoor service this fall!
Please Note: If you do not yet feel comfortable attending an in-person service, that is okay! We are continuing to provide a complete online worship experience every single week at the same place and time as always.
Stop by the welcome tent to connect with us and pick up a free gift! We'll have people ready and waiting to answer questions and provide more information about the church. We can't wait to meet you!
CGKids and childcare will not be available for these services, but we encourage children to attend with their parents. Swing by the CGKids tent to connect with kids team members and pick up a goodie bag. Throughout October and November, we're providing a "Fruit of the Spirit" activity booklet with further family discipleship ideas on the Tools for Growth page.
Middle and High School students can stop by the CGStudents tent to connect with leaders and get information on upcoming opportunities. Small groups for middle school students will also be offered at the Student Center down the road following the service at 10am. Check out the CGStudents October calendar here.
Team members will be there to assist you with parking.
Handicap parking will be provided next to the lower lot. Simply turn on your hazard lights and parking volunteers will guide you to the correct location.
Once parked, head down toward the lower lot and grassy field!
Please bring your own seating arrangements (lawn chairs, blankets, etc.)
Find an area to be seated on the lawn or in the gravel in a socially-distanced manner.
The large welcome tent will offer bottled water along with staff and volunteers ready to answer any questions you may have.
Making sure there is plenty of space to socially distance outdoors.
Reducing unnecessary contact surfaces. Song lyrics can be accessed through the CG mobile app or look for a volunteer passing out a hard copy for the morning.
Keeping our restrooms clean and available.
Providing hand sanitizer, gloves and masks at the welcome tent.
In accordance with the state and city orders face masks will be required. We ask that you wear masks anytime you are not seated or singing.
Refrain from hugging or shaking hands in order to be considerate of others’ physical boundaries.
Monitor your own health. In consideration of others, please be sure you do not have any symptoms associated with COVID-19. If you have had symptoms, have had a fever, have tested positive for COVID in the past 14 days, or have had physical contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID outside of a controlled medical environment, we ask that you refrain from attending our in-person gatherings and follow doctors’ recommendations.
Consider your risk. If you are part of our vulnerable population such as the elderly and immunocompromised, we strongly encourage you to continue worshipping with us online during this season.
While we’re taking measures to help create a safe environment, no one can guarantee or completely control your safety.
What about masks?
