February Missions Update

Subscribe to the monthly missions newsletter!

God has been at work in his church not only here at Center Grove but all around the nation and the world! His pause on travel has given us time as believers to take the opportunity to assess just how we might be used by him in future kingdom building. I'm so excited to be able to share some of the things that are going on locally, nationally, and internationally in CG Missions.

Hope for London

The hard news in the UK is that their lock down has been tightened yet again. You are not allowed to have anyone in your home and you are only allowed outside your house for one hour a day. The hope for London is that churches in the city are still allowed to meet. Pray that as our London brothers and sisters meet that the focus will be on placing our hope in Jesus.

We - along with our sister church (FBC of Cumming GA) - would like to invite you to an afternoon tea with our London missions partners! This will be a great time to fellowship with the Porter and Messersmith family, share words of encouragement, and learn how God is moving in London. Head here to register for the Zoom event on Sunday, February 21 at 2pm.

Hope for Life

The Pregnancy Network's newest pregnancy care center opened in downtown Winston-Salem this past month, and your generosity played a huge part! As a founding partner, we celebrate and praise God for trained nursing staff and full ultrasound equipment, available free to the clients of TPN. When a mother sees her unborn baby and hears the heart beat, the likelihood she will choose life for that child goes up dramatically. If you would like to learn more about the work of the Pregnancy Network and how to get involved, head on over to their website right here.

Hope for our Nation & World

Not only have you been generous to local mission partners, your giving has impacted international missions also. In the month of January, over $53,000 was collected for the International Mission Board's Lottie Moon offering! 100% of these gifts will go to supporting international missionaries and their work to spread the hope of the gospel around the world.

Sharing your faith can be a scary and daunting task but there is more to it than just sharing the gospel with others. Operation Andrew is a training program that will help you understand and practice an evangelical life that flows from a personal and godly relationship - evangelism that is intentional and powered through prayer. Our friends at International Commission are providing this equipping and enabling training free! For more details and to register head to E&E Training.
