Our Vision
You may see church as merely a building. Or maybe it's an event you attend on Sundays. Maybe you even see church as a burden. However you picture "church," we would like to share with you our vision for Center Grove:
Bridging the Gap
We see the church as a bridge of hope that connects people's hurt with Jesus' healing. We want Center Grove to make a real and lasting difference in our world by making a difference in the lives of people for the sake of Jesus.
Making Disciples
That is why our one mission is to make disciples of Jesus.
Changing the World
We believe that our world's problems will not be solved by technology, education, politics, good will, or any other human effort. Our world's pain cannot be eliminated with the pleasure, safety, and comfort we might obtain on our own. Humanity has a heart problem - and Jesus changes communities, families, marriages, and lives by first changing hearts. Real life change always begins with Jesus.
And so this is how we envision church - a community of people committed to giving Jesus first place in everything by making disciples to change the world.
