Heather's Story
As many of you know I was in a car accident on September 12th. I was in a Honda Accord and hit a Dodge Van. My car and the van were both totaled. The officer told my mother he did not know how I survived and when he saw my car he thought he was going to do a recovery not a rescue. I went to the hospital by ambulance and spent six days there. I had to have glass taken out and stitches put in my arm, but the worst injury was my foot. I broke and dislocated two bones in it and had to have surgery. I have screws in my foot (forever), pins that will be removed at some time, and a cast. I may not be able to put any weight on my foot for up to four months. My lifegroup has been awsome with bringing me food, encouragement and continued prayer. Several of my sisters in Christ have said that after seeing my car they know God was with me. I know that He was there and had me held tightly in His arms. I also know that He saved me because He has a greater purpose and I hope that I am able to fill it, whatever it may be. I wanted to share my story to let others know no matter how bad things are for you, HE has a master plan. I am so very blessed to be a member of a great church that cares and has a great love for the Lord. Thank you to everyone who has been a vessel for Him to me and for the prayers. I still have a ways to go, but I know that He is the ultimate healer and He will heal me in His time. I hope this has encouraged someone to know that His arms are always wide open and He will carry you thru the valley. Please continue to pray for my total healing.
Caleb's Story
Over Christmas I noticed a lump on Caleb's neck. As soon as I saw the lump I had an unsettled feeling in the pit of my stomach. I called the doctor who wanted to see him immediately. Once the doctor felt the lump......(read more)

"Pastor,
Yesterday you said you wanted to know of people who are loosing their jobs. As you are aware, I will be closing my business after 28 years. The last nine months have been very difficult. I have had to reduce staff from 44 to six. Today I will cut out two more and next week two more. I was one of those who turned in a blank card last week, not so much because I am angry with God but because of my uncertain future. I will continue to tithe and I will support 4Him but I don’t know where my income will come from or what how much it will be. I went thru several building programs with your dad and Lord willing we will get thru this one. I am down but not out. I am trying to “suffer thru this hardship as a good solider of Jesus Christ”.
E-Mail received 2 weeks later:
"I did my first two jobs last week on my own without a corporation. I billed them $400 each. Since Yesterday was “First Fruits” offering I gave $800 because that was the “first fruits” of working at home by myself. I felt a real peace about giving it and believe God will indeed multiply the gift in the lives of children. Now lets see what He is going to do this week. "
"Can you believe that my husband * is working overtime. It’s been in the talks for several months (since November)and they asked him to work this special project AND they said he’s doing a great job! Of course we were hoping (job security in this crazy time) and extra money. All this happened a week later after we gave our first 10% tithing to the church….I was ready for him to do that a year ago…so, we’re taking baby steps. "
