4Him:  Our Opportunity

Historically, Center Grove has been about reaching people for Jesus Christ.  Her journey to this point has been nothing short of a miracle. Over the years, she has experiences some extraordinary movements of God.

As we make plans to move forward, it is our vision to be a church that the community cannot ignore and cannot live without. Our mission at Center Grove is to make disciples and change the world. Our strategy reflects a simple process that helps every member follow Christ by loving, growing, serving, and sharing

Center Grove is growing as a fellowship spiritually, numerically, and financially. As others join our efforts to influence the world for Christ, our attendance has steadily increased, creating a pressing need to expand our ministry ability through new facilities. The current campus is simply inadequate for Center Grove’s immediate and long-term success in fulfilling her mission. Because time is short, money is tight, and people need Jesus, we want to invest wisely and focus on facilities that lend themselves to making disciples to change the world. We are not looking to build monuments to ministry; rather, our goal will be to build simple, useful structures that encourage and expand ministry to people. We believe that Center Grove has not been called to be a spiritual museum, a country club, an entertainment center, or even a preaching center. It would be closer to the mark to envision her as a bridge of hope, taking Christ to hurting, broken people and bringing them to Him!

It is time for us to step out in faith and address a need from the past and a need in the present:

We have $2 million in outstanding and unpledged debt on our current facility and property.

The educational space that we have is not sufficient for our current needs and is becoming less so with each passing quarter. Our Adult Life Group ministry is running out of space for growing groups and has little space to start new Life Groups.

The space we have for children’s ministry is not effective in helping us make disciples. They, too, are finding space shortages as our ministry to children grows.

IT IS TIME FOR US TO DREAM AGAIN – GREAT DREAMS FOR A GREAT GOD!

God has always been faithful throughout Center Grove’s incredible journey and we can fully trust Him with her future.
